Posture and hand position are the factors that influence lie angle. Golfers with an upright posture or high hand position normally benefit from and upright putter. Conversely, a crouched posture or low hand position usually dictates a flat putter.
PING putters can be specified in 1increments from +8to -8most commonly between +/-4.

PING resarch shows for most putting surface, three degree of loft is idealin order to slightly lift the ball at impact and allow it to roll properly along the target line.
Too little loft can cause tha ball to skid while too much loft can create undersirable spin. Most PING putters are available in lofts from 2-9 degrees.

Hand size and stroke preference influence grip selection. For golfers with an "arm and shoulders" or pendulum stroke, the grip should be large enough to prevent their wrists from breaking down during the stroke. Those who employ a "wristy" stroke may require a smaller grip to ensure an easy release of their wrists when stroking a putt.
