ISI Stainless Steel Irons

Using Silicon Graphics computers, PING's engineers have been able to improve the performance of ISI irons by distributing the most weight at the four key postions-upper and lower toe,heel and hosel. This creates a higher moment ot inertia. As a result, PING ISI irons have a greater ability to resist twisting on off-center hits. And in the sole, by moving metal lower and further back, PING has lowered the center of gravity to help players improve their performance. When you look at the ISI Stainless Steel cavity, you'll see an ellipse and five fingers designed to significantly reduce vibration (head and shaft) and finely tune the clubhead for both feel and sound. The golfer thus receives less vibration and more feel every time he of she hits an ISI Stainless Steel iron. To the golfer, these technolgical advancements mean irons that not onlly feel solid when hit perfectly, they also feel good-and hit truer-when hit less than perfectly.

ISI Copper Irons Because copper is so dense a metal, it lets PING's engineers concentrate weight in four key locations around the clubhead's perimeter, providing maximum forgiveness on off-center hits. And like all copper, ISI Copper Irons darken with age, enhanceng both their appearance and the pleasure of owning them. ISI Nickel Irons Nickel is tougher than copper or stainless steel, yet in ISI clubheads it produces a remarkably soft feeling. On impact PING's ISI Nickel irons sound very solid.
