WEDGES
The i3 Blade Wedges are designed for better players who demand high performance from their wedges from all types of lies. Distinguished by a classic look developed from Tour player feedback, the Blade wedges feature a round toe and thin top line.Less offset helps in alignment and low bounce angles provide proper contact through the turf. Loft and lie angles can be adjusted from our standard specifications to match player's swings as well as their typical playing conditions. The new U-Wedge (52 degrees) fills the gap between the pitching and sand wedges.
LEFT-HANDED CLUBS AVAILABLE
CUSTOM TUNING PORT (CTP)
The walls of the CUSTOM TUNING PORT (CTP) control clubface vibration to improve feel and feedback. The thermoplastic insert enables PING to achieve the precise tolerances required for building custom-fit golf clubs. It allows PING to contunue raising the standard of clubhead fine-tuning without grinding or other common club-altering methods which can affect the subtle features designed and cast into the club.
LESS OFFSET FOR THE BETTER PLAYER
The Blade is designed for the golfer looking for shot control without compromising forgiveness. A thin top line, rounded toe and slightly smaller clubhead give the club its distinctive blade appearance. With less offset than previous models, better players will find controlling the shape and trajectory of their shots easier.
FLAT TOP HOSEL
Hosel design reduces shaft stress for improved feel.
NOTCHED HOSEL
A notch at the back of the hosel, which is not visible at address, enables us to control the connection of the hosel to the clubhead. The result is an optically pleasing, smooth transition between the hosel and clubhead that can be precisely calibrated for loft and lie.
